With materials that tend to panel, it's important to know where the seams are going to land and to communicate the plan with clients. In this install, templated the rigid Vahallan so that it could nicely fit into the arched cubbies. The designer had sculptures installed in the cubbies that were tall with a bit of a body in the middle of the sculpture. So I placed the horizontal seam from the tiles Vahallan sent in the heaviest part of the body of the sculptures, thereby making the seam least noticeable.
